Day 1: Arrival in Amman – Islamic Monuments

  • Arrival at Queen Alia International Airport.
  • Visit the impressive blue-domed King Abdullah I Mosque and tour the Islamic Museum.
  • Overnight in Amman.

Day 2: Ajlun – Faith and Strength

  • Travel north to visit Ajlun Castle, an Islamic fortress built to confront the Crusaders.
  • Visit the shrine of Abu Ubaidah ibn al-Jarrah, one of the Ten Companions who were promised Paradise.
  • Overnight in Amman.

Day 3: Desert Castles – Art and History

  • Full-day excursion to the Eastern Desert castles: Qasr Amra (famous for its frescoes), Qasr Kharana, and Qasr Azraq.
  • Discover Umayyad architecture, art, and the unique desert lifestyle.
  • Overnight in Amman.

Day 4: Kerak Castle and Battle of Mu'ta

  • Visit Kerak Castle, a Crusader-era fortress steeped in Islamic history.
  • Reflection at the site of the Battle of Mu'ta, in honor of the Sahaba martyrs.
  • Overnight in Petra.

Day 5: Petra – Departure

  • Full-day exploration of the pink city of Petra, including the Siq, the Treasury, and optional hikes.
  • Return to Amman.
